ST AMBROSE COLLEGE FOR BOYS
In a significant and exciting new initiative for Catholic Education, two new single gender colleges are currently under development in Joondalup.
Stormanston Catholic College for girls and St Ambrose College for boys will be the first single-gender Catholic colleges to be established in Western Australia in over 70 years.
Responding to the dramatic growth of the northern suburbs and to an expanding body of research indicating that single-gender education may be the best educational option for some children, the colleges are part of Catholic education’s efforts to offer diversity and choice in schooling. Extensive scoping and market research has revealed a significant community demand for single-gender Catholic schools in the region.
